Yes we are talking bipod. But IMO the most flexible, and (IMO) BEST way to hunt all environments, is the Rhodesian quick entry sling, aka Ching sling:

It works in two ways; both a carry strap and a highly versatile triangulating sling.

Well,I got my ATAC tripod today. Seems pretty good.

I will always be a big fan of Harris Bipods with your choice of Arca or Pic hardware, but I've recently picked up a Thunderbeast Bipod with leg extensions with cleats and love it. Feels bomb proof like the harris, but the legs really shoot out when you want to adjust up.

Other than that, I'm a big fan of the Short Action Precision PRS sling and the Magpul Quick Adjust sling variety.

Only in the most fundamental of ways. Havent actually shot off it yet
