Military surplus Pelican case

Bought this case from a guy that did metal detecting.
He used it for his 2 metal detectors and several disk shaped search coils.

Has 3 locking points .

Also has a 2 compartments uper and lower seperated by a hard plastic board..
I would likevto convert it into rifle case .
No idea what kind of foam i should buy and use but open to suggestions..

Nice robust looking case. Baggage handlers would probably take delight in attempting to "fold" it for you.
Foam; I sourced mine from clarkrubber.com.au
Cut to size for the cases that I use. Bought a number of sheets in different thicknesses so that I could configure the inserts to suit whatever firearms for any particular instance. Sometimes only one, others up to three, layered strategically.
They have hight-density and pre-diced, in varying thicknesses.
A visit to them might be worthwhile.

I tried looking for materiel on fleabay but i was hesitant to buy anything and then find out later after it arrived that l had bought the wrong materiel /size etc and wasted my money.
I’ll check out clark rubber in the new year and see what they have to offer cheers mate
