Bipod for beginer benchrest shooting

Anyone have a good recommendation for a bipod for benchrest / prone shooting at targets?

Thanks.

I have been really happy with my versa pod bipod its not as expensive as a atlas but same type of system
it does not have external springs like a Harris bipod
but overall its a little heavy but very sturdy and I like the option that you can remove very easy

I bought a cheapo bipod and was very disappointed. Poor construction, poor design, it does what it's meant to but it's a pain in the arse. I guess when you buy bipods you get what you pay for.......

bipod? like a harris or Atlas? great for hunting or prone shooting at the range but less than ideal for shooting off a bench. a front rest is better and can be used on the mound for prone shooting too

look at the caldwell range, or SEB or farley if you want to spend more on your rest than your rifle LOL

I started off using a $30 eBay bipod. Worked for a while but was flimsy. Eventually sucked it up and paid for an Atlas. Haven't looked back. They're well worth the money

I guess the question we need to know is how much you have to spend - only then can we really give you a good idea of what's available within that price range.

Yep.

There's good for $100, $300 or $1,000.
