MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X Ear Muff Fail and Repair

Incase anybody is interested and invested a $500 in buying the Sordin Supreme Pro X ear muffs and had them fail you can send them back for repair.
My had performed well after several years of hunting before the noise cancelling stopped and the plastic coating of the wiring disintegrated. MSA australia didn't want to know and searches on the internet recommended sending it to Florida, USA. When I contacted them they said it would be cheaper buy a new set than to repair. Finally I found a form on the net and sent it to Sweden back to the factor for repair which cost about $280 including postage each way plus they replaced the gel seals which had also come apart and about 4 weeks to repair.
