Spotting scope?

Post by TikkaT3.223 » 21 Aug 2014, 12:10 pm

Thinking about buying a bushnell trophy 20-60x spotting scope for long range shooting/spotting. Just wanted to know if the image is clear/crisp out to 1000 yards? .. I don't mind if I cant see the bullet holes at that range, just as long as i can see if i hit or miss..

How it is at that distance will depend on light, airborne dust, humidity, mirage and wind induced vibrations. Spend a fair bit on a tripod with a joy stick style tripod.
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.
