Great service from lgs

Post by 1sikxt » 03 Oct 2013, 11:12 am

Just thought I'd share the experience I've had at my local gun shop in Keilor the gun emporium I've been in there about 3 or 4 times now and there always flat out but not once have I been rushed or hurried with service I'm new to shooting and reloading so as a newbie have plenty of questions I was in there 2 weeks ago as I was just starting my reloading and they spent 45 minutes with me going threw every thing

That's what you want.

I've spoken to them before when I was trying to find stuff interstate. They didn't have the rifle I wanted but where helpful none the less.

I have noticed service seems to be turning around a bit in the firearm industry recently.

More people in stores waking up to the face that people won't put up with worse service these days and will shop further around if they're not happy.
Thin out their numbers, Ned!

Mmm, thin out their numbers!

Fingers crossed.

I've had a few dud experiences too, like I'm sure we all have.

Same. I've called them a few times when I was trying to chase down a rifle.

Didn't end up getting anything from them because they didn't have in stock and supplier was out at the time as well, but they were happy to do the run around and try to find what I was after or suggest alternatives.

It's good to hear that it a common thing you here a lot of negatives, people are always willing to complain when they receive bad service but very really speak about there good experiences

That's the problem.

If you get good service you don't think about it because it's what you expected/hoped for... When someone gets s**t service they tell everyone they can find.

Totally agree, I notice it a lot, being female they look at me funny when I walk in to a gun shop, then when I start talking they take a bit more notice. In saying that it is slowly getting better.

Has even been that bad that I walked into a gun store with 2 mates (both male) and the owner asked them how he could help thelm and totally ignored me!! One said "She's the one here to buy something!"

Yeah, that's weak.
