There's a couple of superficial differences between the one above and mine.

Your locking lever is on the opposite side to mine. Mine uses a flush mounted screw through the mount where yours has an external nut. The screw to attach the legs to the main body is of a different design as is the detent for height adjustment. Also the mount seems to stick up higher than mine.

A simple explanation could be that one of these is an earlier model than the other and there were variations made between the two.

So what's the story here? How did you come across this? Are you looking to buy?

I'm definitely not big on paying 3x the price for a brand name ;)

For $75 I'd give one a god if the feedback is good.

Ordered something similar. Not expecting the world from it but don't want to spend $300++ for a bi-pod on a $700 rifle (well, $1k once you count upgrades)! Hopefully it arrives this week (maybe next) and i can get some testing done.

If and when i can ever afford some fandangled new superdooper rifle, i'll shell out for a real Atlas.

Atlas are nice. The price rankles a bit though, you're right.
