What would you bring back from the US?

Equipment and accessories for shooting. Safes, firearm storage, bipods, carry cases, slings etc.

What would you bring back from the US?

Post by Sockeye » 13 Jun 2015, 9:40 pm

Firearms related obviously.

Going to spend two weeks in California so looking for things to buy while in there.

Generally could use a good red dot/reflex sight for <$200.

Suggestion?

An Aimpoint red dot will cost you $800.00 not matter which country you got from.
Browning BL-22 lever action...open sights
T3 Varmint .204 Ruger...Meopta Meostar 4-16X44
T3 Lite .30-06 Sprg...Aimpoint Hunter 1X red dot

....that will do me

I've been looking for a new scope for a while (Vortex), my cousin lives in the US and just came over here last week. I was going to get her to bring one over but there really wasn't that much price difference to justify it. I'd rather pay the bit extra for local warranty.

Anzio Ironworks 20-50.

20mm Vulcan necked down to 50 Cal with an effective range of 3500 yards.

I would say some folding hunting knifes like the buck 110 or some case knifes. And some ammo the knifes will be no problem but the ammo I don't know because the state you are going to is real anti gun about as bad as it gets here

I'm really liking the look of the cz 527 carbine to fill the gap between the lever action and .270. What's your plans?

Maybe a bulk purchase of rifles?? Imagine the look of are customs as an xray reveals the outline of a dozen rifles
I smell a group purchase! - one export permit from the state dep......a pallet of brass and bullets? a bucket of reloading dies and other bits?
A bunch of knives?

Non firearm related; the Camaro would benefit from a 502 crate engine.....

Take empty suitcases and buy clothes.

I picked up Tommy Hilfiger jeans for $25,Reebok boots for $30 and some nice LLBean stonewash canvas shirts for around $25 each.

Projectiles would be worth bringing back if you reload.

The concept of civil liberty and for the heck of it, the right to bear arms.

Neither would be allowed through customs though, and could be in scarce supply over there. :)

Clothes and brass sounds good, could probably bring enough of one to pay for the other

hahaha Joy, you are back and not angry. Good. All in jest as you can see.

Ive had a rough last few days as some here know. I need to blow off some pent up frustration and through humour I can. Never mean to upset unless I'm conned stolen from or lied to. Hints as to my issues lately.

Not sure what's wrong with people these days. It's hard to find trustworthy genuine people who don't have some sought of agenda.

They are a dieing breed.

Hope your situation gets sorted out and good comes out of it KW

Some items you can send back to your self through the mail or UPS to cut back on the luggage fees you might have.
