Is it made from Bis 400 or better because that will give a nice ring or if its mild steel you should make some nice holes, good fun either way :drinks:

Yep, drops subsonic about 2100 yards  but should make a nice ringing sound on impact :)

Nice target, I'd like a few like that myself once I get some lockup storage organised on my block. Was it plasma cut? How heavy is it?

Thinking you went through a few cutting discs :) Keen to see some pics of hits up close, I'm curious to see how much of a dent there is.

Luv your work mate, good stuff :)

this is at 750y bit of a divit but it will take 2 hits in the same spot but not 3 it's been welded up a couple a times

and the funny thing is that the 162 AMAX doesn't even dent it but the bergers do what is in the pics

It's been blowing here all day so it got me thinking how am i going to mount this thing in a portable

manner :? so after a while i came up with this  2 star pickets .

i also made a picket driver as well so now it only takes 5 mins to set up and 20 mins to get the

pickets out of the ground    easy and cheap...

Lucky for me that AR2218 comes in 4kg containers and I've emptied quite a few of them. As a precaution, I always peel the labels off the containers before throwing them in the recycle bin.

Any chance of some video of hits? I'd love to hear how it sounds on impact :)

Thats why Brett uses Aussie propellant, he get an 'extra' 4 loads out of the tub, or 32 from the jug ;)

More keen to hear the sound then the pic...I've had ideas to see if I can find some old church or school bells to shoot. Set them a nice distance so they ring but not destroyed, could be fun me thinks.

Did you work out a good method of securing the target? I'm looking to see how you do it before making my own and any advice would be much appreciated.

I never tire of watching the vapour trails as projectiles arc onto target. I'll be asking Santa for some gongs this Christmas :)
