As there's been a lot of negativity in the shooting media of late I reckon its time for some fun. Check out this fella's videos and have a look eat his toys. I wanna play too! :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwhwkiZ-zgs
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

Interesting video. An uncle has an old family martini I may end up with some day. I need to pay him a visit to take some dimensions and see if we can't start developing some loads for it

[quote="Noisydad"] I wanna play too! :P

Been pouring over web sites and the like for days and got the urge to find out what those things are selling for.
Got a very rude shock in the hip pocket and saved my money but it was an interesting journey, although I won't be playing :(
Thanks for posting, Noiseydad :)

If you're keen to get started with black powder but don't want the outlay for a cartridge rifle like a snider, martini or trapdoor a muzzle loader is a cheap way to get into the sport.

Can often find one of the Italian replicas second hand at the lgs for 5-700 or hunt around some of the gun shows, got the 45 cal flintlock for 300. If you don't want to get into casting you can pick up boxes of round balls pretty cheap.
