Hmmm... still trying to find the spare cash to get a larger safe. Mine is a 4gun safe. Yes, there are 4 guns in there but it is tetras to get them in and out. They are probably getting bashed about too much and i can't store my 7mm-08 with the 56mm scope attached because there is no hope in hell of it fitting in in any way.

My advice... they way you are getting into it and acquiring more rifles.... start saving for a 14 gun safe now! :drinks:

I have an 18 gun safe with room left over if you want to give me some of your rifles to free up space... :)

Yeah bigger is better for sure - not sure I like the locking setup on that one either (does it have locking rods that go into the top and bottom of the safe or not?

I reckon you should mention something about safes over 150Kg don't require bolting down in NSW which is something renters have to consider.

Cat A+B are stolen more often than Cat C, very few Cat C are reported stolen perhaps the stricter safe requirements contribute towards this.

There are of course far less Cat C firearms issued as well.

Vic police reported 6 pistols out of over 48,000 registered pistols stolen last year in the Senate inquiry, stolen pistol stats include all pistols from Police, security and Cat H licenses.
Sounds like Cat H storage requirements are adequate to me.

More likely the fact there cat A and B well and truly outnumber the cat C is more likely the reason.
