Zerust rifle bag?

Post by BBJ » 02 Nov 2013, 12:22 pm

Anyone got one of the Zerust rifle bags that stop corrosion?

I like the idea of protecting my gear obviously, but from a picture they look a bit flimsy? Plasticy?

Have to order online from the looks of it so would be buying sight unseen.

Any advice appreciated. Cheers.

Just about plastic as you said.

Rust protection, but not much in the way for the back getting knocked about.

You know you can buy capsules for your safe?

Put a capsule or two in your safe and store it without the bag.

Only needs to be in the bag without the capsule for a few hours/days?

Safe and sound while protected in the safe for the rest of the time.

The capsules for your gun safe last 2 years.

The bags last 5 years.

Personally I'd get a bag for knocking/scratch protection, and leave the rust stuff in the gun safe for storage, not travel.
