Looks like a Remington 750 but the sights seem a bit far forward. May be a newer model than the 750. Fitting larger mags was common with cullers. In this case he must of run out of camo tape!

Ahh so!
7600 with the slide open. Not too familiar with the newer Remingtons, newest of mine is a 722 in 22-250! Almost ashamed to confess I had to get the magnifying glass to re-examine the fore-end after bentaz identified the model, must get new specs. Just have to throw in the old joke, he left the mag plain so he could find the gun if he dropped it on the ground.

Seriously, if the capacity is stopped at 10 it would be a good rig for busting mobs of goats or dogs.

I wonder if anyone has actually scientifically studies the 'camo on guns and everything else' idea as far as effectiveness (as opposed to simply an excuse to go camo)....it probably makes jack shoot difference..... If going for the 'invisible to the game' approach the day glow orange would be more effective - I recall Savage did a Euro spec 9.3x62 rifle in orange camo some few years ago..... looked different and probably streets ahead of the real tree remchester (gee that is an acquired taste)...

If I came across a sav I would probably add it to the collection.... not the above

No,,,,,,, its not for sale.
It is just a 7600 .308 with factory camo finish. Its had less than 15 rnds thru it.

Just thought I'd throw it out there for the hell of it.

The mag I made myself just cos I could. (I got bored one day)
