This may be the dumbest of all dumb questions....but as I wear glasses for reading, should I leave them on or remove them when looking through a scope ?

I use long distance and reading glasses.....

I use my distance ones on my scope and pistol shooting at st Mary's range as glasses are required. In the field no glasses for the rifle

Scopes already magnified just focus it in..

Is the target in focus when you are not wearing the glasses? Is it in focus when you are wearing the glasses? If you answer yes to both questions, it does not matter. If you answered yes to only one of the questions, then you have your solution.
I've been asked: "How many guns do you need to have?" My answer remains the same: "One more."

What scope(s) are you using?

Most will have a focus adjustment on the view piece anyway removing the need for glasses?

(I think, never had to adjust for myself but it's there)
