Steyr Pro Hunter higher capacity mags (more than 4 rounds)

Any one any idea if can get a bigger mag of more than 4 shots for 223 pro hunter .or of any other that fits. Shame only 4 shot mag they make a larger capacity mag for 243 308 I think

I've looked in to this and from what I can find you can only get 4 shot for the 223, you can get a 10 shot for other calibers in the pro hunter range so hopefully down the track they make one for the 223, in saying that though I've found the 4 shot to be ample for what I use the rifle for.

Two options:

1/ buy a couple of spare mags
2/ write directly to Steyer and ask them if they make them or will be making them.

I think the same.

Carrying around 10 rounds in a mag just seems like excess weight to me.

The easiest way then is to modify an OEM mag to increase its capacity. I saw a video recently from a guy that made his own detachable box magazine for a Mosin Nagant M91/30.
I'll ask about rough costs of making a magazine on CNC machines.
Just a matter of drawing the four components then feed it to the machine.
It's probably possible to 3D print them these days as well?

I thought we'd all been printing off 100 round mags for assault weapons for years already... according to the media :lol:
