Digital LockGunsafe Security Tip

For those that may not have thought about this.
A simple thing to do and increase your security.

Dust, Wipe, and maybe polish your keypad surfaces.

If you get an uninvited intruder/s, they may simply look closely at your keypad.
If your passcode is for example,,, a six digit code, when they look closely they may see that only 6 pads have been regularly used.

This will straight away give them only 6 pads to play with alternately to possibly open your safe.

Much less than the umpteen gazillion options if they don't know which pads are usually used.

So Dust, or Wipe, and maybe occasionally polish your keypad for added security.

I change the code every time I get my pistol out. My safe pin pad has this pin reset button on the inside of the door and I swear to god every time I get the bag out I hit that button and have to reset the pin...

Another option is to put in an incorrect code using the non-used numbers after opening up the safe with the real code each time.

If a potential thief is looking at your keypad.....
You already have much larger issues at hand.

No gun signs like "Winchester " on the rear of your ute is always good advice. I see it all the time, may as well advertise.

Granted,,,,,, but it can happen, so why help them out ?
And unless they know that your going to be away for a length of time, most breakin thieves just want to be in and out again quickly.
