So, I was in Anaconda today. Sheath knife $22. Normally $45. So I took a punt and got one for myself and one for son-in-law .
Carbon steel with a wooden handle 4" blade.
Rockwell hardness claimed to be 59. Naturally made in China at that price.
Seems good value for a basic hunting knife.
Question. Would HRC of 59 be OK for general hunting knife?
PS. I need a new knife like I need a hole in the head. Must have 6 or 7. Just couldn't help myself.
