Has anyone used a trophy gun safe?

I'm currently looking at the trophy safes, as they seem to be the only 150kg+ safe at my local store.

Has anyone had one of these, and are they worth the price?

I can't seem to find anything online about them, no website or reviews.

I'm wondering if it would be better off for me to order from a more well-known brand and have it delivered.

Check out the Lokaway LCH2 as another option, although a more expensive one. Stay away from Spika as they can be cracked in seconds, unless you relocate the programming switch. Given that actual capacity is roughly half what they say, how many firearms you looking to store and what sort of budget do you have?

I don't think that the capacity is a worry at this time as most 150kg+ are about 18+ guns, it's my first safe and being in a rental requires it to be over 150kg.

I was hoping to keep it around the $1000 mark, but $1200 was my limit.

As an owner of a Spika, got any more info about this?

I may have engaged my fingers before my brain...Does the Spika have the little red button in the inside of the door near the hinges?

G'day Diizane,
Never mind the "brand name" stuff, 90% of these safes are made in the same factory in China and branded according to your wishes. You can even get your own name on it if you order enough of them. The only real consideration is whether it has cross bolts, so the one in your pic would be fine if the price was right, Cheers.

I can tell you both the SFB2 and SCH1 do not have said button.

You need something like this inside to be actually safe.

Yes, I have a fire proof one; 155 kg with shelves on the right hand side.

It's are an American safe made by Homak.

It's a very good safe for the money, but I'd say Lokaway are great also.
