Great shooting mate, how tight are your groups with the factory silver tips @100m? I haven’t tried them in my Howa but it might be worth trying a box.

No mate , its a completely stock rifle....thats why I love sakos you dont have to tune them, they shoot great straight from the box.

Great shooting mate, and it just goes to show that you get what you pay for regarding accuracy straight out of the box.
In saying that, there are less expensive options that shoot quite well out of the box too, my Tikka and CZ for example.
Still, this is about some great long range shooting. Very impressive mate, well done. Something to aspire to.

Thanks Jim, I think if I were to buy a new CF I would go the tikka they shoot just as good as sakos but cheaper....anyone can do long range stuff, it just takes trigger time thats all .

Yes my Tikka is a great little shooter, wouldn’t hesitate to get another one if I was in the market for a new rifle.
As for the trigger time, think I’ll go out the range this week and try some longer stuff.
Keep the videos coming mate. Quite entertaining.

Nice shooting mate! Do you mind me asking what part of the state you are shooting? Don’t want anything specific, just a general region. Cheers
