That's weird, it worked for me when I posted it as I had just voted - doesn't work now though. Maybe they realised firearm owners had discovered it and were afraid of getting a realistic result :-)

I just noticed I still have the original window open :-)
It doesn't help now but I thought I'd post the article.
1100 voters but I think that was probably when I voted myself, it doesn't seem to be updating.

i dunno about the politically correct title to the article,"push to legalise hunting in queensland". it gives the uninformed the view that it's criminal behaviour , that hunting is illegal. the article does give a strong case for state forest hunting access and the economic and social benefeits but ;)

Doesn't really matter much what slant some journo wants to put on it.
What matters is the language used in the petition, which all Queenslanders are able to engage in by going to the e-petition link above.

Yeah it’s a minor gripe about the article title, but it’s stuff like that that makes it problematic for uninformed politicians and members of the public to support this petition in the first place. I’ve voted myself, and am trying to get non shooters I know to vote and support it as well. When talking to friends about it, the title got the response of “I didn’t know hunting was illegal “. Anyway, soldier on ....
