Bloody hell!
I lived just down the road at Londonderry as a kid, doesn't seem like deer country, just goes to show how they've spread.

I've seen those deer, and my workmate (also a hunter) said he saw a group of three white ones not fr from where this collision occurred. This post reminded me that we were going to call Blacktown Council as it appears that this is limping now.

Looks like a suppressor to me, good spot, I didn't catch that when I read it.
Strap on thermal sight as well.

Speaking to a guy at the range yesterday about that deer he said it died I asked how he would know he works for Blacktown council he is on squad that get to pick up the road kill in Blacktown area .
He was saying there is a herd of deer in Narragingy Reserve and they get hit by cars a lot at least 3 a year around that area he showed me photos on his phone I would say somewhere around 20- 30 deer just in his 3 photos I asked if the council placed the deer in the reserve hes said they did not know where they come from ( yer right )
