Mount Disappointment Signs

Post by booomr » 08 Mar 2019, 5:20 pm

Hi brains trust!

Just headed out to Diso after work to have a bit of a look around, and found plenty of sign (though not quite sure what I stumbled across). Is anybody able to identify the following?

Lives up to it's name. My normal type of hunting bigger game is either picking a spot looking over a creek etc, or walking til I find them.

This is definitely something I need to learn.

Having a slow morning this morning, I've been googling poop, Christ only knows what the google algorithms will be loading my pages with now, it probably thinks I'm a coprophile

Anyway, after much poop perusal, I'm no closer.
It could be wombat, but as it's on the ground and not on a pedestal of sorts, perhaps not.
It could be kangaroo, or as Oldbloke suggests, deer.

The only positive conclusions are:
A, it is definitely poop.
B, there are a whole sh!tload of people posting poop pics( pun and alliteration intended)

Well OB, as you recommended a visit to the Sambar sign thread, I naturally assumed you were putting them forward as a candidate.
Sambar being deer, I thought that's what you must have meant. My mistake.
Never mind, ar least we can all agree it is poop.

No worries Gaz. It's either wombat (looks a bit qubic) or roo. Nothing for size comparison.
