Rossi do a good Win '92 copy in .38/.357, expect to do a little tuning and adjustment and probably Tru-Oil the timber to weatherproof.
My favourite is the 16" BBL carbine, shots either of the above rounds faultlessly and hand loads can get impressive velocities with AR2205 out of the longer [than pistol] barrel.
Excellent website is "The Rosssi Rifleman" a gold mine of information ex very nice blokes.
Hornady XTPs are very effective but expensive, Len Steele of Armoury & Ammunition Services in Dandenong have a good quantity of 158gn FMJ projectiles [ex the old Maribrynong ammo factory] at a good price, good man to deal with also.
Rossi at one time produced the rifle in 454 Casull, the skinny little butt plate of the '92 would make that hard on the shoulder LOL.
Importer is OSA [Outdoor Sporting Agencies] in Melbourne, stock levels seem to fluctuate, I traveled from Melbourne to Dubbo to buy my last one used.
