I'm pleased to say that the pigs where I hunt are back.
When the rains came they all seemed to go on holiday somewhere except for a handful of little suckers.
Where they used to be regularly I couldn't find any in at least 6 trips.

But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, they are back,, and in numbers.
I went out tonite with the express purpose of catching up with a dog that's been seen a couple times by the owner.
The dog was a no show, but boy oh boy did I see some pigs.
In one mob, I counted over fifty mostly adults and at least three big boars. At that stage I stopped counting, but there were still more
back further behind the main mob.

I had actually been watching them for about five minutes as they grazed among the trees off in the distance,,, but did not realize that
they were actually pigs.
I had presumed they were a mob of sheep.
Then I heard a squeal that quickly jerked me back to reality,, and zoomed in for a closer look.
Until then they were grazing slowly just like sheep do, and I hadn't taken a closer look.

I think I know where I'll be tomorrow night.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.

A mob of 50 is truly gold. I have not seen it before not even big swamps up the cape ... hopefully they hang for a bit and are not just passing through..... it could be quite disappointing to see none one night when u saw that good a mob the night before in the same spot
