OK, small amounts of progress here. Sorry guys, I've been tied up by other stuff... mainly work unfortunately! Didn't even get a chance for a shoot on the weekend! Might have to do some .22 targets at the local night range this week to get me through the week ;-)

Anyway... I've mounted the IR device to the scope. I ended up using the bracket below. it seemed to work better than the other one i bought.

here's the progress pics...

thx mate, i reckon it'll be about two weeks away, but shouldn't be too much longer. just depends on work and home stuff.
i might even try to gather enough time this weekend to finish her off!! just depends on my "frequent family points" status... which are fast drying up at the mo!

well, had a pretty frustrating day, but have made some progress.
took me 3 hours to work through wiring as my mini recorder and screen just woudlnt work.
must be a fault as it works on a larger 7 inch screen
so its now all together, but its just sooo far from focus that it is unusable for now
looks like i'll need a few more hours to work this sucker out.
very frustrating... ;-(

missed this thread back in august

i'll tell you pete anyone who's been around the aussie shooting forum scene for long enough will probably remember a few years back there was a lot of chatter about this stuff, everyone was buying parts, ordering this and that, sharing designs and telling us how great they were going to be

and your's is the first one i've ever seen even display an image, i think most of them either gave up or couldn't get it to work.
in fact there's parts for one for sale on another forum this weekend and that sparked a few memories with a few mates about the old threads

hope you get it up and running successfully mate, i'd love to see them working

thanks boys, worked on it some more this arvo... and guess what... cam works a treat.... IR lamp works a treat... but... cant cycle the F'ING bolt!!

major miscalculation in the housing set up!! oh dear!! Housing plans will need to go back to the drawing board! Got some idea's on how to fix though, shouldn't be too hard, just need more time.

bl**dy annoying as i am going hunting in 8 days and i wanted to get this thing out there! not enough time to fix it for this trip. oh well... at least i have 9 weeks holiday's, should be able to get it working over the next month or so...

PS, I AM SCOPING A TV!!!!!!!!!!!, NOT A REAL HORSE RIDER!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. needs focus on scope, not on cam
