Wind Estimation when hunting

I found this and thought hunters might find this of use in the field. I expect target/comp shooters would already know this stuff.

It seems to be an accepted standard. Here is the original. It includes knots and kms too. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/images/iwx/publ ... _Chart.pdf
I went to the Advanced Hornady balistics calculator and it will calc the windage as well. http://www.hornady.com/ballistics-resource/external

So between the two you can make a fairly effective cheat sheet,

I just guestimate what hold off I need if I need it, I haven't got time to do calculations etc when hunting foxes etc. I seem to get away with it most of the time.

Calm. Smoke rises vertically.

When you come across a pack of deer sitting around the campfire you're gold!
