Hoffman harpoon knives

I though this was pretty cool, adds a new twist to the 'multi tool' knife concept.

Could always take a stab at some fish if you run out of bullets

Looks nifty, shame they focused on pretty pararcord knots rather than something would actually work for the harpoon in the demo picture.
There is only a little friction stopping that blade sliding back along the stick, retractable harpoon? Ideally it needs a notch in the stick, but at the very least a few lashings through the tang hole would help.

Probably not, with no visible handle they'd likely call it a 6" knife. The cursed "nanny state" mentality.

Thats mighty dangerous looking... those customs tools might classify it as... a ballistic single hand operated death dart weapon knife, and hang on to it, mainly so they can include it in the press release photos of "look what we prevented from entering the country and therefore saved the people from" bee-ess..

honestly though, I cant see a use for it other than showing your mates.....the paracord wouldnt make a rigid fixing...

Rakk, do you normally shoot fish??

Yep she's just another of a long list of "Look at me how cool am I" type gimmicks that suck a whole heap of wannabes in. really I mean what the hell are you supposed to do with em? I couldn't see em being used to skin things, cutting rope maybe? I wouldn't waste my time or money on something like it myself, each to their own of course but as far as I can tell she's been designed to be marketed to suckers. :D

Yeah as it's pictured it would be useless.

I'd have thought shaping the bottom of the handle so you could stick it in a notch in the stick would have been the way to go.

Didn't look sexy enough I guess.

Maybe he could swim into the beach with it clenched between his teeth, rag tied around his head, some camo on his face, do a leopard crawl his way up the beach and try and Neutralise Wilson
