Probably to much private property down that way. What are you hoping to hunt?

I'd go east...north/east.

Going that way to visit Mum with some other family members and would have liked a brake from it, may have to work out a different way home.

NorthEast is right, all the land is pretty well tied up down that way. You'd need an in from a local cocky. If you have family down there, maybe they know someone who with be happy for you to wander around for some bunnies and foxes???

Worth asking. "Old Mavis" might have a son who is having trouble with foxes.

There's deer hunting to be had north of Warrnambool around the Grampians but your looking at a 2 hour drive from there.

Probably too far for what you want?

There have been persistent rumors for a number of years now about Feral Pigs (that were apparently released ) in the sandhills and adjacent country around Swan Lake (between Portland and Nelson)

Initially a boy in blue from (? Nelson) was having good sport according to the rumor, and came down heavy on anyone else he caught sniffing around.

The sandhills are I think legally off limits for shooting anyway.

Has anyone else heard of Pigs in that area ?? (No pun intended)

Like the old saying goes, A million blowflies cant be wrong. :unknown:
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.
