I have a friend in the USA through aviation, he just so happens to be a big name in the gun game over there. Tom's words and experience shooting the Ruger American over 1000 yards (no kidding) along with a bunch of media folk seems to reinforce what old bloke wrote above.
I was so convinced I ordered one in .308 and a VX2 3-9x40 for it. I can't wait to pick it up!
