Tense hunting scenes

New hunter here so it's still all a novelty, probably boring for the old hands :P

Watched for the first time in a while the Ghost and the Darkness movie, everyone remember the scenes where he's cut off my the brush with the lion and his rifle rails?

I recently got my first rabbit and a fox which had the adrenaline pumping

Watching the scene got me thinking about it and I felt tense for the guy in the moving being able to relate that tiny bit

Wasn't too terrified that time I pulled the trigger on a rabbit and the magazine was empty though

Recently pulled the trigger on a rabbit and nothing happened. I was cursing the local gun shop for selling me a dud second hand shotgun before I realised I'd neglected to cock the hammer...... :-/

I have witnessed the ferocity of rabbits when out spotlighting, once in a while you will see a rabbit dodge the bullet and come running right at you !
