We are sweltering here today with a top of 17deg if we are lucky (lasts for about a minute then plummets again) , warm compared to the other day when it was -1deg at 2pm and it snowed too!

One cold snap last week and now it's back to summer. Sooner or later I'll wake up to see snow on the surrounding peaks and then its game on.

I've lived in north east Vic and worked in the snow for 20 years at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham.
