Post by Muddy1967 » 26 Oct 2013, 2:23 pm

Hi Guys,

Is anyone a member of the Hunting Club at SSAA Springvale Range?

I am looking at joining and I am wanting some information first.

Thanks,
Clay

Hunting club at Springvale?

I couldn't see anything on the SSAA website about this... Where are you reading this?

Lorgar,
I read it on the notice board at the range.
They meet on a Wednesday night once a month at 7.30pm.
Next time I am down there I will get the details.
Just found this link for the Hunting Club.

I actually left a message for the bloke about this on Friday.

Haven't heard back yet but will follow up.

Not into duck shooting, but organised fox/deer hunts is right up my alley.

I have just had a look at the Deerstalkers Club.
They have a lodge in woods point that you can hire @ $20 a night.
Sounds like an interesting Club (if you hunt Deer).
God bless,

$20 a night?

That's a deal if ever I've seen one.

LoL. Getting to woods point is a tiresome drive. But some great deer country.
The lodge is free to members of the deerstalkers club last I checked. its a great little lodge that's always maintained and works carried out on it.

I've not heard of the 'hunting' club as such, but they do fox drives and things like that.

Cheers

The price you pay I guess.

If you can drive an hour to go somewhere crap, or 3 to go somewhere good. I'll take the 3 hours.
