Shot this bitch this morning on the side of an old logging track. The 30-06 did it again at 137 m by my Aldi range finder using shooting sticks.

She was facing me and sniffed the ground. So I shot her between the shoulder blades. You shouda seen the exit wound. Yuck!

Who said a 180gr interlock would pencil through? That's the second one with that result.

She was very fat too. Anyway great for the native birds etc.

A nice double header from this morning.....both shot within 10 minutes of each other at a bit past 200 metres with the 243 Lithgow, dropped em dead where they stood.....took the hind and for quarters and backstraps off both beasts as well as removing the heads which I’m going to Euro mount....happy tummies ahead for the family and dishlickers...
