Hunting in Mount Disappointment forest

Game hunting and large prey. Deer stalking, hunting with hounds. Boar, pigs etc., large prey, culling, hunting large feral animals.

Has anyone been hunting ferals in Mt Disappointment forest? Has anyone been through there recently?
if you don't get stuck, your not trying hard enough

Theres stuff there, pigs and deer, ferals, it'll all be close range work though, pretty thick scrub in most areas and can be a tough hilly walk at the best of times

further away from people you are the better. i try find places bikes and 4x4's cant/don't like to go.

Went there a few months for scouting, didn't see anything over about 4-5 hours of walking... found some animal sign (mainly s**t) but couldn't tell what it was from.. most likely just roo s**t

I park at campgrounds set up then walk down narrow paths/ walking tracks then cut off from there, towards fringe country is good so you can achieve better lines of sight.
