Foxes, 4 whistling.
Rabbits. Must be 50 or more.
Deer. It was a clean miss. Bugger.
Goats and pigs, none in my area really
Shoulder operation hasn't helped

Haven't done any hunting but had a great year as far as black powder competition goes having scored places 46 times in 9 months worth of events comprising;
1st place: 21
2nd place: 12
3rd place: 13
I've got Lady Noisy to a point where she's starting to beat me (may have to un coach her  )
I've also made a heap of gongs and silhouettes and a 3rd range at noisy ranch (which will be expanded). The back yard there is starting to look an awful lot like Hickock45's compound. :D
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

Rabbits: probably 50 odd.
Hare: 1
Fox: 6 I think
Goat/Pig/Deer: 0
Minor Bird: 2!
It'll shoot the fleas off a dog's back at five hundred yards, Tannen, and it's pointed straight at your head!

I've had a pretty good year.
I don't keep track of numbers very well but at a guess.

About 10 foxes including a few cubs
Countless rabbits
About 10 hares
About 5 cats
And 75 roos under permit for the first time.

Acquired a new Remington 700 .223
And a Adler, which is pretty much like a semi auto, only it's slow and clunky.

Even better, I got 2 people into shooting and they went on to get their licenses, almost squeezed a third one in. He can be number 1 for 2017

I'd rate my overall effort at about 50%
I'll make a bigger effort next year to get out more often. :drinks:

I've been lazy of late (health hasn't been the best) and I've been busy with other things but managed a few foxes, rabbits, cats and pigs - hopefully I can be a bit more pro active next year.

In terms of game, so far it's a big zero. But I'll mark 2016 as the year I got back into shooting after a 20 year 'break'.

Only picked up my firearms 2 weeks ago, hence the zero count, but have a fox hanging around I hope to nab b4 the new year ☺

I can relate to that, lost my job late June for doing my job well. Shoulder surgery the next day. Some company managers are all class. Still not working. So s**t year.

Look on the bright side of life. More hunting time.

2016. Well, the 2 feral dogs I really wanted grassed, I give a "F" but 'great effort, tried hard.' Only sighted them on cameras, no go baiting, trapping, stalking, whistling or howling!
Foxes and feral cats - 6 foxes and 4 cats but only as a bycatch from calling feral dogs.
A few trips to Belmont range done.
Far too hot now until about March/April to start on the feral dogs again.
2017. A more of a concentrated effort required.
Boom, Boom! Tikka, Tikka, Boom! Shoot first, video later.

1 Red deer (doe)
Couple of rabbits with the pellet gun
A few Indian miners (pellet gun)
1 massive black boar
More than 10 goats
Over 100 rats in the chicken coop
1 fox

Need to find a spotlighting property to improve on my rabbit, fox tally. Most of my hunting is in NSW state forest.
