Hopefully mixy is gone from my area. This is the first rabbit I've shot for a while that won't be bait.

They are scarce around my way since that last strain was released. Hit them pretty hard.

I reckon mine have been thin and scabby all year. I hadn't shot one for over a month as I had plenty for bait but I was pretty happy when I picked this one up. Even had a bit of fat on the shoulders. Ate it last night.

As long as they look healthy though eating them if they have myxo isn't really an issue for us (people) though right?

I've seen pics of them a week or two on when it's really messing them up and they look like leppers, but say Mr. Bunny got it the day before there is no harm is there?
