I like the guy,,,,, he's got a corny sense of humor.
He is right about various animals coming in to callers that don't necessarily make sense (to us humans at least)
I had a mate years ago that was set up in a hide one afternoon and was using a "Scotch Predator" caller to bring in foxes.
He had been at it for about 20 mins, when to his surprise a Fallow doe came into sight about 60 metres off, and without any hesitation walked straight towards him in his hide.
He said it came as close as 15 metres before being spooked, and then bolted.
He said to me that if some-one said they could call in a fallow with a Scotch Predator caller he would've said they were nuts.
But,,,,,,,,,, as he said, Seeing is believing.
Who knows, it may have simply been that it was curious as to what was making the noise, but the fact was there,,,, that it came in.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
I've come to realize that,,,,, the two most loving, loyal, and trustworthy females in my entire life were both canines.
