Mid summer medium range 22-250 Bunnies.

The flood of spring Bunnies has subsided and the unusually large number of foxes from last year has taken its toll on the Bunny population , but I did manage to get few with the 22-250.
The wind and mirage worked their magic making even 300yd shots difficult so the 250 was a good choice for yesterdays activities, hit rate was not that flash with the little 55gn pill struggling to push its way through the gusty variable winds
Anyway I cant complain Im grateful that the virus has not struck my area , the country I shoot in is semi arid, I read that the new K5 is particularly virulent in colder wetter climate...phew
Well heres the vid and I hope you enjoy,
cheers,
Sean.

You can always pick up a handheld digital anemometer to do it for you.

Some interesting and out of the ordinary pelts going on there Elmer...
Id be hoping/letting them get a couple of litters out then popping them close range with a .22 for the skins...

Ive also noticed some red (orange/tan) ones on some of your more recent vids...it apparently takes quite a few generations for that to come around...

About 15mins, during that time I normally clean them and put them on ice if they are any good.

True mate, most of the warrens are several years old and very well established....I was back at the same area last Sat and counted (just on dawn) between 100-120 Bunnies at about 500yds away and they were the ones I could see.
There is a few grey/black and white ones getting around , I have left them alone cos I want to see how many multi colored offspring they will produce.
cheers.
