This was a GREAT day...

Varminting and vertebrate pest control. Small game, hunting feral goats, foxes, dogs, cats, rabbits etc.

This was a GREAT day...

Post by Rod_outbak » 29 Apr 2018, 3:36 pm

From late 2013; met this rather clueless gent right on sunset, on the road.

.308win running PPU 150gn SP @~45 metres?

Note they seem to stop working when the claret escapes...
Not much need to check if he was dead or not...

[Pretty sure this side is the 'OUT' door...]

Cheers,

Rod.

In computers/electronics, they always talk about 'when the blue smoke escapes', the machine is likely terminal...
I suspect Wuffy is wired somewhat similar, only runs on Claret...

Cheers,

Rod.

Very good article.
It is an unfortunate trait of (some) Australians to think that any native fauna that is perceived to have "done wrong" against activities undertaken by, say, graziers or surfers, then gives dingoes and sharks, amongst other creatures, some human like quality. And if they have done somebody a wrong they must now be hunted down and destroyed for their inappropriate behaviour.
Time to be realistic about what might happen "in the wild".
