Not bad for a first time

Post by Toppy91 » 16 Sep 2018, 4:20 pm

Hey Guys,

First time at the range today with the Howa 1500 and safe to say I'm pretty happy. Bottom pic is the sight in effort with the centre group of 2 being pretty tight. Top pic is 200 yards. With a spotting sight helping to sight in better I am hoping ti get these a little tighter.
Happily for me and my wallet the Howa seems to love the 60gr Hornady TAP. I ran a couple of boxes of Winchester hollow points through but wasn't very thrilled with that result.

I hope you good blokes got out today too!

Would have been there earlier had the conundrum of what to take when i looked in the safe. It is a curse having so many pretty ladies looking back at you from within the confines of the safe in the morning. Just begging to be played with

Haha first world problems mate. I’ve only got one for now but I already think I’ll need a bigger safe. 5 gun safe my ass. With bipod and scope it barely fits one.
