Lovely Match 54 action in a stock set up for Benchrest. Are you looking at one?

Jeff, bite the bullet and buy this beautiful Walther. Cheap at half the price.

But what a stir you would make rocking up with the Walther. She's a keeper and something to be proud of. I cannot find any 1813 Anschutz at a good price.

"She's a keeper" probably isn't the best way to describe a rifle that's being sold by the current owner.

The KK500 is a beautiful piece of equipment though, if you go all the way to Olympic level you'd never need anything different and even in a local club environment they're just a pleasure to shoot.

The list price is $8,300 now but there might be some of the pre-increase models available for the old $7,500 price. That second hand one is priced high at $8,000 even if it does include some Tenex, the other accessories look mostly standard though.

If that Walther made its way into my safe there is no way it would be going anywhere. I want a rifle to shoot in the local Field Rifle competition. Some kid would probably beat me with his 20 year old CZ but no one would look cooler than me.

Do you think he would take $5,000?
