Don't upset him. I've got to put up with him in a couple of weeks and get some serious load sorting done. If anything I hope our mate puts a printer to good use and I end up with a nice bound copy......:-)

I just want to see what they have changed or just "put into print" some items/regs which were being considered OR - as appears so far, put the many previously seperate books in some sort of order for easier reference.

ps. I do read legislation acts & regs, cover to cover - when keeping an eye on firearms laws, etc.

One tiny point, don't forget to carry your "Whistle" at all times... Might help chase the Cows too.... :-)

Thanks 'sweety' - I'll remember to put a couple in mine ;) , just so I've always got one to hand (so to speak)

Actually, we have two at range 2, used for the service rifle & pistol shoots & the one I've got in my range bag is a 'ships whistle' which is 'quite a bit' louder', so there should be no trouble with shooters wearing really good ear muffs or bluddy old farts (blokes) complaining they can't hear the command to cease fire.

Printed out the 'new A to C compiled' rules & will have a copy at the range. Seems ssaa have "adopted" the IRB (international rimfire benchrest) as part C & stuffed in the old 500m Fly rules as part B, with a reference to "see part A" if anything missing :!:

We will give it a try & see how we get on.

Had a look at the 500mFly forum & it appears from some of the comments - some parts of the rules have "been printed up" differently to those apparently in current use.

Interesting - other disciplines can also stuff up their rule books, not just Combined Services (in the last revision).

Anyway - we will be using the A - C as our bible (within our available frames/target holders, etc.) for any up comming stuff at Windamere Regional Shooting Complex - benchrest, until advised otherwise.
