Buffalo Rifle Assn of Australia

The BRAA is active in NSW but I cant find any Ranges that conduct their shoots here in QLD
https://buffalorifles.com.au/
Milmerran would be a good place for it.
Why I ask is I have a full size Buff here that I am no longer permitted to shoot at on our QRA Range. If a QLD Branch could be started I would donate it as the
805 yard Quigley target.
I phoned SSAA Qld but got no support.
Any clues on any QLD Clubs or Ranges that would take up the idea.?

G'day perentie,
As far as I'm aware NSW have the only dedicated buffalo rifle club in Australia to date, but nearly all the SASS clubs have a long range rifle comp that includes such types of rifle. Perhaps contact your nearest cowboy single action club? Cheers.

Which range at Millmerran? There are two SSAA ranges there.
The state complex I think goes out to 1300yds and the South Ridge to 500m.
I've never had a go at buffalo rifle shooting but it looks like a good time.

Wattle Grove is the only range in Queensland registered for all legal calibres as they have a 3km backstop.
