Perth Shooters recommend me a range..

Post by Fozzy » 07 May 2014, 9:13 pm

Hey all,

With the pending arrival of my rifles I was hoping to join a rifle club..

I'm not really interested in the competition aspect of it but I would like to have access to turn up and use the facilities for sighting in etc etc when I cant get to the properties I use... Not sure how it works if you have open license rifles and want to be a member?? I shoot H cat and obviously you have to do a number of attendance's a year to keep your license. That would not be the case with my rifle so it would just be what a club imposes on me..

Im north of the river so that would be preferred.

You dont.. I am a member of a club for that.. Which is what I was saying as you have to be..

With rifles you dont so there is no min attendance required thats what I was trying to say.

Last time I looked into Whiteman Park they didn't do centrefire shooting. Has this changed?

Hey fozzy,

Have you looked into the Perth metallic silhouette range ?

You can shoot your handguns as well as centrefire and I think they even do a shotgun event.
