Ladynoisy and Son Going It Alone

Post by Ladynoisy » 08 Nov 2014, 9:29 pm

Heading off to a competition shoot at Seymour tomorrow.
Noisydad is off this weekend with the Scouting movement.
What's more important than a competition shoot weekend?
Half the stuff we share between us and is stored at his place.
Thought I should a least have a range table, so I made one myself. I've never really been a handy person until Noisydad showed me how to use a drill. No stopping me now!
The messy background is where my kitchen used to be. I'm renovating too!
The guns are a Winchester 32-20 and a Pedersoli Tryon (45cal).

I"ve down the floors in the lounge room. They have come up really nice! Noisy helped with that last year. It was like 40 degrees! Who does floor boards in the middle of a heat wave!?
The trouble with the house it was moved in three sections so there is a cut about an inch out from the hall running the length of the hallway.

I'll have to pull the range table apart when I get home and paint it so it looks pretty...

So he says.

I reckon he's making excuses to not attend because he's sick of you mopping the floor with him

Really, truly was! Took 15 Scouts to the Mallee Rover Crew's "Rover Mud Camp" at Tappio Station near Wentworth. It was a 6 hour drive each way - long way to go for a weekend camp!
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

Hey NoisyL,

If you put sides on that table, you could call it a box.

Then you could put all your stuff in it for the range.

Was thinking that was a good idea but then thought I'd need wheels and a pull out handle. Then maybe a small engine to move it all!

Yes it has hinges... Thinking I might put a handle on the side.
Was showing one of the guys at the range. He was grumbling that his wife would never make him a range table! He said "I'm going to go get my wife, show her, make her take photographs. Then she can go home and make me one!"
I saw her taking pictures later in the day!
