I will be a Belmont a couple of weeks after Easter so probably won't see you but bring your Five Iron for the cane toads, really good practice for your golf swing

bentaz,
If you are talking about the SSAA, check their web site to make sure they aren't closed for a Public Holiday.
As for the QRA next door, they might be doing a Prize Meeting or somesuch. Check before you go.

if Belmonts busy when you're up, check out SSAA Ripley. its open Friday, sat, sun & Monday, 9-4. bit more of a drive but 10 bucks for the day for SSAA members, usually a lot quieter/relaxed than belmont

+1. Belmont is overpriced and not nearly as friendly as ripley.

As stated above ripley is a nice and they don't do rifle rentals so normal a lot quiter. Rarely do you have to wait for a bench.

Ripley is quite a trek from Belmont. I wouldnt bother. Theres a stack of clubs at belmont to choose from. If you want to shoot targets from 300-1000yrds most clubs love vistors if you have your own gear. Check their websites for when they shoot. From 10-15 bucks generally.

Maybe if you join in on one of the comp days they might care, particularly if you're beating them with it :) . Think they are only once or twice a month but from what I've seen they don't take up the whole clay field

We use a coach gun, Chiappa lever and a beretta trap gun. I don't get involved in any of the comps. We just grab our own thrower and have fun. Usually leave with more clays than we start after we go out and collect the unbroken ones at the end of the day.
