bench rest

Post by Mongrel » 08 Jul 2016, 9:17 pm

Heya, has anyone got any experience with either of these 2 rests?
im looking at getting one in the next week or 2 and just after some pros and cons from people that have used them.

Either http://www.claytonfirearms.com.au/produ ... st-clayton

Or http://www.mtmcase-gard.com/products/sh ... s-psr.html

The caldwell is $125 and the MTM is $77

Thanks in Advance

I have something similar to an MTM case, it's plastic, it's not really a bench rest - more of a cleaning stand, that could be repurposed for a very small caliber. If you are shooting 30cal - it's going to jump and bounce.

I've got the MTM K-Zone rest.
Does the job, no complaints.
I only use it for load development.
I chose it for the small storage box to keep some tape, dots, pens and such in there. It lives in a plastic storage crate out in the paddock with the chronograph so I don't have to carry them up there when needed.
