Shooting in the rain

Post by hootshoot » 24 Nov 2013, 10:18 am

I was at the little river shooting range today and there was a fair bit of rain and not so many people.

Always quieter when raining, don't know if it's just the crappy weather in general or if people don't like shooting in it.

I don't really find I shoot any worse in the rain? Not that I'm ultra accurate or anything...

The wind is more of a problem, but rain doesn't do much against me at 100m.

Do you guys normally stay away from the range in the range because of the rain?

Doesn't bother me.

The quieter the range the better :D

The further the distance the more it will effect your accuracy.

If you're not shooting far enough to notice/care then happy days. No worries.
