Brukunga Combined Pistol & Shooting Club, Murray Bridge

Post by Bent Arrow » 16 Dec 2016, 8:03 am

Hi, just wondering if anyone might have some contact details for this club. Used to be a member long time ago. Stuff all info on the web, can only find a postal address. No email or phone number or info on club days. Thanks

I think that they were asking for donations on Facebook not long back with a go fund me link ... Something about wheelchair access?

PM sent. I am not sure why these guys make it hard to find contact details for them, but I am sure they must have good reasons.

Cheers

Hi I am currently an AURRPC club member but would like to join a club with a range longer than 100 meters, with clay shooting as well. I have heard good things about Brukunga and it is not as far away to travel as other ranges. But I cannot find any contact details whatsoever. Could some please help me get in contact with them?

Good old rifle clubs ... they operate like secret societys.
I live between Monaro and Brukunga, you wouldn't know that they exist. Nothing in the papers, nothing on the radio, no flyers on shop windows, it's almost like they don't want members

Lol sounds like St Ives pistol club here in Sydney on one wheel..

Old boys club, when i told the president i had an interest in IPSC, he flatcout told me that he was not interested in any new IPSC or service shooters and then wrapped up the tour.

Hi,

I am not a member anymore, I used to be a member nearly 20 years ago, and was going to join again when we moved back to the hills. I might join up again. I had been shooting at hahndorf for a while, good people but the format is very constrained. Brukunga used to be a very laid back club, catered for most things. Hopefully it still is. I won't put the contact details up here because obviously they make it hard to find. I'll send them via PM. Last time I called they sent out membership forms pretty quickly.
