I'm thinking of heading down to Lang Lang to have a shoot but I've heard some mixed reviews, what do people think of the range?

G'day Zarrs,
Like most VRA ranges, but due to development near the range rifles must be sighted in before competition. Are you shooting T/R or F Class?

Do you mean your rifles need to be sighted in elsewhere before you arrive at the range?

I was just looking to go down and shoot, but from what I can see on their website it's only competion stuff. I just want to go and shoot with out competing.

I got an email last week saying Field Hunters had an open shoot on Saturday morning that was not a competition. Even thought about going along myself but it didn't happen. One day's notice doesn't make it any easier. Email was received 1739 on the 26th.

"Hi Members,
On the 28/10 Lang Lang is having a range day shooting at 300 yds. We can also have a go at the .22 if you would like
Nothing bigger then 30cal
You need to be there by 9:30am if you want to shoot at 300 yds as your rifle needs to be sighted in at 100 yds first.
The cost of the day is $20 per person.
Our club will put on a BBQ lunch Lang Lang club has cans of drinks for sale.
Please let me know if you would like to come so we can organise the food. Email if you going to attend fhctraining@fieldhuntersclub.org.au
Address:
25 Range rd Lang Lang
Hope to see you all there
Hope to see a few of you there

You can go down early sat and sight your rifle in and they are very helpful.
